Wyatt James Schierman is a freelance writer from Alberta. He holds a bachelor's in political science, a master's in public policy and is currently employed as a program associate at The Carter Center. He has observed elections in Guyana, Tunisia and Ukraine, and has completed a fellowship in Ghana, working with young women social entrepreneurs.
