Randall White has worked as an Ontario public servant, and subsequently as an independent public policy consultant in Canada and the United States. He has a PhD in political science from the University of Toronto, and has written (or co-written) 11 books on Canadian history and politics. He is now at work on a twelfth book about the history of democracy in Canada.
