Armchair Quarterbacks offers a political conversation that is accessible to everyone — not just the backroom strategists, pundits, and journalists.  Join us every other week as we chat with special guests both on the periphery and inside of the Canadian political world.  We’ll take you behind the scenes to get at the why and how of the our politics.

The show is co-hosted by Tara Mahoney and Jonathan Scott.  Tara and Jonathan are two 20-somethings with political pasts.

Tara is a digital strategist and writer in Toronto with a background in politics.  She runs a digital communications company and has worked for progressive candidates, including on the digital teams for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier Kathleen Wynne.  Tara has been published in She Does the City, an online magazine for women.

Jonathan is from small-town Bradford, Ontario.  He worked as a writer for Premier Kathleen Wynne then at an ad agency.  Now he owns his own consultancy firm.  He’s also run campaigns or done communications for progressives at all levels of government in Ontario and in the UK.  Jonathan is a columnist with Loonie Politics and a talking head on CTV.  He’s been published in Monocle, Salon.com, The Globe and Mail, The National Post, The Toronto Star, iPolitics.ca, The Huffington Post, The Presbyterian Record, Education Canada, Education Today and The Federalist Trust.  His dream job is Gary Bettman’s.
